Book Discussion and Painting Party May 19th

May 19 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

You’re invited to paint a pipe and discuss blazingly good recipes and gardening

Join these celebrated authors for a painting party from 4-6pm then walk nextdoor for the authors panel from 6-7pm. We’d love to see you at both events, but if you can only make one, no worries! There is plenty of parking at the West Lake Shopping Center, just park near the Trader Joe’s, and Color Me Mine and Peninsula Book Collaborative are right night door.

Authors Panel 6-7pm at Peninsula Book Collaborative

Join us for a lively discussion of all things gardening and enjoying Cannabis. Emily Gogol, head gardener at Grow it From Home, will moderate the panel discussion between these fabulous authors and you the audience. Come with questions!

Gardening: Why we love growing Cannabis in our backyard and what you need to know to grow at home.

Did you know folks all over California and across the U.S. are already growing Cannabis at home? Whether you call it hemp or marijuana, enjoy THC and/or CBD, it is easy to grow in your backyard. Think tomatoes, but easier.

Edibles & Drinks: You can use Cannabis like any other ingredient in your kitchen – we’re here to help!

Our author panel is here to give you practical advice on using Cannabis as an ingredient in your kitchen. If you have questions about edibles or drinks  one of our authors has the answer, and this is a safe space for an open discussion.

Painting Party 4-6pm at Color Me Mine

Color Me Mine has a fantastic selection of fun ceramic pipes, bongs and more. Join us to paint a pipe, or a mug or coin-bank-unicorn, whatever you like (!) from 4-6pm is time for us to all hang out together and chat before the author’s panel at Peninsula Books, which is right next door.

Reserve Your Spot & Supplies

Please RSVP and if you’d like to pre-order for pickup at the event that would be a huge help, as we often sell out. We look forward to answering your questions, painting some pottery together, and having a fantastic night out together.
